There is a maxim which says some were born great while some achieve greatness. Our amiable Ambassador Akande Kazeem Babatunde was born great and achieved greatness, born into an illustrious family of Alhaji and Mrs Akande in Ido Local Government area of Oyo State, Nigeria in 1979.
Akande Kazeem is a product of Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Oyo State, University of Agriculture (UNAAB), Ogun State, ESPAM-Formation University and Sainte Felicite University and several other academic institutions. A man whose quest for knowledge is so tremendous, this quest has taken him far and wide beyond the shores of Nigeria to the Republic of Benin and USA where he got a Master's Degree in Educational Management, a Master's Degree in Public Administration, a Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing from ESPAM-Formation University and Sainte Felicity University respectively. The Distinction and honour of Doctor of Science, Honoris Causa in Leadership/ Community Development from ISFOP -Benin University, Doctor of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Management from PROWESS University, Declaware USA and Honourary Doctorate in Entrepreneurship Development from ESFAM University Benin Republic.
Akande provides top-notch solutions to businesses of all sizes, facilitating students’ admissions, guidance and counseling pupils on the right career path and how to exhibit good morals, engendering peace and conflict resolution knowledge and practical skills.
Akande is currently the founder of Easy-Prevarsity International School, Director of O’Rachel International School, the President ECOLERITE Institute for Peace Advancement (EIPA), ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, The Chairman Governing Council; The African Institute for Justices of the Peace, a member of the Governing Council of ESPAM-Formation University, Republic of Benin. A Dr of Peace and African Ambassador for Peace (AfriAP), He is a Certified Public Administrator (CPA), a Fellow, Africa Institute of Public Administration (FAI), a Fellow, International Academy for Gender and Peace (FIAGP), at which he also serves in the capacity of the South-West Regional Coordinator, a Fellow Chartered Institute of Arts Professionals (FCIAP), a Fellow, Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management FPD-CR, a Fellow, Institute of Strategic Customer Service and Trade Management (FICSTM), Fellow Western Coast Maritime Academy (FWECMA), Fellow National Youth Council of Nigeria (FNYCN), Fellow Triumphant Institute of Professional Studies (FTIPS) and Justice of The PEACE (JP) Oyo State.
He also enjoys the membership privileges at 2-Division, Nigerian Army Tiger officers' Mess. As a security conscious person, Dr. Akande is a course 4, No: LAS3371 attendee of the Supernumerary Training (SPY) with the Rank of Superintendent of Police (SP). Patron/Marshal; Community Ambassador for Development Engagement Techniques Initiative (CADETI). However, as a sports enthusiast, he is a member of the prestigious Ibadan Recreation Club 1902 and the Ibadan Tennis Club respectively.
At present, he is the President-General of the Alliance of Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide (AYYCW), as well as the Grand Patron of Agbekoya Farmers' Society, Oyo state.
Dr. Akande is the Charter/Past President Rotary Club of Ibadan-Challenge (ID: 8868315) a family which he joined several years back as a Rotaractor in 2007. Dr Akande is a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF). He is instrumental in the establishment of Rotaract Club of LEAD City University, Ibadan. He has undergone so many trainings under Rotary Academy which includes: Rotary Positive Peace Academy Training Course, President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS), DTTS, DTA, GMS, The Rotary Foundation Seminar 2018 - Zone 1 (TRF), The Rotary Leadership Institute RLI Part I, II III and Graduate Course (membership series) and many more. He has served in various capacity and currently serving as Peace Zonal Coordinator (Zone 1), Rotary District 9125 Peace-building and Conflict Prevention Committee for the 2022/2023 Year (IMAGINE ROTARY), Patron Rotaract District 9125 and Membership Chair (Ibadan-Challenge). Dr Akande's is the founder Akande Tunde Movement - ATM. To the Glory of God, he has given over 500 scholarships to students and individuals on vocational trainings and school education. Akande is a High Chief; ASIWAJU EWE of Otun Ekiti MOBALAND and OTUNBA BOBATOLU of Orile Kemta in Ogun State
Dr Akande is a very passionate family man, caring father and loving husband despite his numerous schedules and commitments. He is happily married to a beautiful, understanding wife, Amb. (Mrs) Muibat Abisola Akande whom is an educator. Their union is blessed with children.
On account of his consistencies, Dr Akande has received many awards and recognitions, the awards and recognitions span from the academic world to the secular world.
